I assume you're referring to the older woman who may not have been wearing her glasses when she claims to have witnessed the murder. In essence, people tend to remember things differently, you've probably recalled an event that happened during your life, only to have someone else interject they remember it in a different way. Sometimes we remember things in great detail, at other times we may not want to remember them at all. Thimgs that happen quickly are also difficult to process, particularly, when they've emotionally moved you. Human memory isn't always perfect.
