At the end of the novel, what "victory over himself" does Winston realize that he has won?

Winston finally loves Big Brother. He has always resisted the love of BB but now, that his brain is scrambled eggs, he truly sees he had been wrong all these years. He now sees that he should not have been running from BB but towards his loving arms.
