The Parson's children, like most Outer Party children, are brainwashed by the Party. They are taught to spy on adults, including their parents, and report anything "suspicious" to authorities. They can easily denounce any adult they wish without having any evidence. The Parson’s boy accuses Winston of being a thought criminal.
