Given what you learn about Sammy during the course of the story, what do you see as his primary motivation for quitting his job? What other factors motivate him?

Sammy is in awe of Queenie. His hormones are running in overdrive and he looks around the store with dissatisfaction. He shudders to end up like the status-quo drones that inhabit the place. He shudders to end up like any of the men working there. Sam needs a shot at something different or something that will at least calm the raging angst surging through his veins.
