Tante Lou, Grant, and Miss Emma go to visit Henri Pinchot. Miss Emma wants Mr. Pinchot to use his influence to persuade the Sheriiff to give Grant permission to visit Jefferson in jail. Miss Emma uses her past service, as well as her family's to persuade Pinchot.
