Chapter 1-4:How does the prosecutor Jefferson and how is he described by his own defense attorney?

The prosecutor said that Jefferson was an animal. His own defense attorney said that Jefferson was a fool, an idiot capable of nothing more than to follow orders and do what he was told. He finished by saying he'd rather see a hog executed than Jefferson.... and that was how he saw him..... as no more than a hog.
