What is Salva's story about?

Salva is one of the Sudanese lost boys, he traveled through Africa on foot, after bing separated from his parents as a result of war. The trek was frought with danger. Salva survived starvation, attacks by wild animals, and disease before reaching Kenya. He was eventually relocated to New York, where he learns English and eventually attends college. Salva's story also creates a foundation to install deep water wells in Southern Sudan, so that those left behind will be provided with clean water.... something in short supply.
