What is the connotation of the word "palampo" in Chapter 2?
Was "palampo" used negatively or positively is what I'm looking for, but with more of a explanation.

Palampo is defined as single...... unmarried. Beah's mother's use of the word is joking, sarastic. She is infering that he needs to learn to cook for his "single" life, only to immediately take it back and remind him not to stay single forever, as she wanted grandchildren.
