A Modest Proposal Plot

Swift's proposal is anything but modest, making the title, like the essay, a satire of epic proportion. The word modest is an exaggeration, leading the reader to believe the proposal itself will be simple..... but it's not.

It is basically political essay that doesn't really stick to its classic plot. Still, Swift adds lots of story-like details to keep readers interested and so the classic plot analysis fits pretty cozy anyway.
