So far in the story, how has Mrs Moore shown herself to be "Oriental"?

"You understand me, you know what others feel. Oh, if others resembled you!"

Rather surprised, she replied: "I don't think I understand people very well. I only know whether I like or dislike them."

"Then you are an Oriental."

Aziz is quite taken with Mrs. Moore. He says that she is Oriental because of the way she judges people. She has the instinctive insight into people's character. She bases her friendships on her quick sense of affection and sober judge of character which makes her an "Oriental".
