What is your opinion of george's character? Evaluate his good and bad qualities.

George seems like a prety good guy, and he is successful. He's a bit arrogant, and he sometimes demonstrates his intelligence in inappropriate ways........... just to make people feel inferior. As a character, he's not the "man" for Beneatha, she can hold her own with him intellectually, but their values are far different. George believes that an education is the path to success and should be used to get ahead in life. Beneatha is far more interested in politics and getting back to her African roots. George isn't a bad guy, just the wrong guy.
