Why do you think Mama gives Walter responsibility for the money? Do you think it is a good idea?

Mama wants to support Walter's dream, and she wants him to be the man he is supposed to be. She wants him to become the man of the house... to take responsibility. By giving him the chance he dreams of, she affords him her trust. She shows that she believes in him. She allows him to become a man.

according to me it is a good idea:since walter was angry against her mother because he was given the money needed in order to do what he wanted,and he even did not try to understand why mama refused give him the money he wanted to invest in a liquor store.That is why mama gives him the money so that he can take the responsibility to do what he needs.yes,it is true that walter did not succed with the money but it was a lesson for him,and next time he will try to listen people around him before taking his decision.
