Chapter 1-5
Finny was a boy that seemed to have it all. He was good looking, athletic and extremely personable. The private school was quite strict but Finny was the only boy who can charm the teachers. While conversations between students and staff were often stilted, Finny had a way of speaking like the teachers were old friends. He had a respectful playfulness about him that endeared him to the school staff. Teachers tended to look away or laugh off Finny's indiscretions. They concluded that Finny's behaviour was part of what made him the exuberant boy that he was.
