What different attitudes are revealed when Mr. Brinker says that war memories are a part of a man forever? How does the adult view differ from the youth's view?

Mr. Brinker tells us how the boys will see the world someday. They boys are incredibly naive in the way they view the world, the war, and the ways in which we change as we mature. While some memories of youth do not stay with us, the memories of a war, which are devastating and can never be forgotten no matter how much one would wish to do so.
