Why did Gene start saying prayers again when Finny returned?
This is once Finny comes back after Gene was considering going into the war but Finny changed his mind again.

He does this because he and finny pray in silence for three minutes each night. Finny is dependent on gene now that he is back at Devon with a broken leg. Gene feels guilty aboutbwhatbhe has done.
