Jalil
Jalil
You have too many questions here for this short space. This is a very patriarchal and mysogenist world. Jalil feels something for his daughter. Weather out of guilt or affection, Jalil tries to maintain some kind of connection with Mariam. He takes her to town and the cinema. Jalil only does this as long as he does not have to sacrifice or extend himself too far.
