Eddie is worried that Rodolpho has plans to marry his niece in order to get citizenship. He goes to visit Alfieri to ask if there is any way he can stop Rodopho from marrying Catherine legally. Alfieri tells Eddie that he onlt wy he can stop Rodolpho is to report that he had entered the country illegally.
