Eddie refuses to go to the wedding. Marco appears outside the apartment and calls out Eddie' name. Both have words for each other. Eddie has been shamed for calling immigration on Marco and Rodolpho. Eddie attempts to explain himself to the gathering crowd. In violent frustration Eddie tries to stab Marco. Marco grabs Eddie and turns Eddie's knife into Eddie. Eddie dies in the arms of Beatrice.
