On page 186, the narration flips back to Rashad who watches the news develop on television. On the show, they interview people on both sides of the debate. First was a woman by the name of Claudia Jones, who filmed the video of Rashad outside Jerry's. She claims he was already on the ground in handcuffs, and it was impossible for him to resist. On the other side they interview a taxi driver, who is quick to defend the officer saying "he looks like the kid who robbed me. He was dressed just like him" (187). I think there is racial bias on the cab driver's part.
