All Quiet on the Western Front
how does paul baumer confront his former teacher
After the war
After the war
He really doesn't confront his teacher (Chapter ?). Paul sees his teacher and they talk about the war....... well, his teacher does. Paul wants nothing more than to leave and makes the mistake of accepting a cigar. Thus, he's forced to spend a longer amount of time with him. His teacher speaks about the war like one would talk about a toothache....... Paul is disgusted that the man describes it lightly and as nothing more than terrible.
