It's always difficult to legitimately assess the "accuracy" of a poet's vision because it's usually the case that accuracy is not necessarily his or her goal. In Ginsberg's case, it's because he just doesn't really care about something like accuracy. While it could be argued that his diagnosis of America as a war state, it's often difficult to take him seriously when it comes to the reasons why. This is not to say that his poetry isn't valuable--it certainly is and has been for many people. But "accuracy" is certainly not his virtue.
