2. Explain what happens to the hens in this chapter. How does this society live up to the utopia established in the beginning of the novel?

When the hens rebel and break their eggs rather than donating them, they are ultimately rounded up and executed. This is absolutely the opposite of the kind of utopia the animals had hoped for when they overthrew Jones.
