Old Major urges the animals to band together and make revolt against farmer Jones. He wants them to create an animal utopia.

he urges them to rebel against Man as Man is the source of all their misery. They are the ones who provide for Man and yet they are the ones who rule the animals. He also urges them that in trying to fight against Man they must not take on human qualities.
