How does the author order events within Chapters 9 and 10 of Animal Farm to build tension?
There really isn't a lot of tension in these chapters. Both chapters involve the falling action and dénouement. This is the end result of Napoleon's totalitatarian tyranny. Instead of retirement, Boxer is sent to the glue factory. The pigs are now little different from human captors. There is a sense of fatalism rather than tension.
