Are there any other animals exept the pigs, that are given special treatment?

I think it is more a matter of how other animals can help the pigs that is important. Boxer the horse, for example, is given special respect but only so far as his ability to work makes the farm money and achieves Napoleon's ends. The puppies that Napoleon steals are treated differently as they are to be brainwashed to become Napoleon's private security.
