Whether man or pig, both Mr. Jones and Napoleon take advantage of the animals.  Mr. Jones does it because he feels superior to the animals; Napoleon, as the leader of the pigs, sees himself as the most powerful animal on the farm and thus thrives on the power that comes from controlling the animals.  Mr. Jones is just lazy and somewhat stupid; Napoleon is ruthless and obviously does not care about anyone except himself and his comrades.
