Contrast the horses and the pigs. Descirbe how they are different using two examples from the text.

There are basically three horses. Molly the horse differs from Clover and Boxer. Molly leaves the farm early in the story to be spoiled by humans. Boxer and Clover work hard without asking questions. They represent the working class. The pigs represent the abuse of authority. They take control and exploit the other animals. The horses think they are working for the common good but are merely being manipulated by the pigs.
