Snowball wanted to remain true to Old Major's vision of an animal utopia. He, for example, drew diagrams of the windmill that would cut the work the animals had to do. Napoleon was an opportunist who wanted complete power over the farm and the animals. He was a dictator of fascist proportion. He was only interested in his own interests.
