what do other characters say about napolean ?

This really depends on which characters you are referring to. The pigs support him except for Snowball who becomes increasingly against Napoleon's dictatorship. Other animals blindly follow him and some, like Boxer, desperately want to believe in him. Some animals like the hens are terrified of him and what he will do should they disobey.
