what do we learn about Mr Jones

In Chapter One, we learn that Jones is in charge of the farm. We also learn that he drinks (too much) and doesn't take proper care of the animals. To the animals, Jones is a tyrant...... profitting from their hard work and refusing to share what he has. The animals are put out to pasture, sold, and killed when deemed useless. The animals want to rebel and have him removed.
