What forced the humans to band together and attack animal farm?

The humans did not want the success of the rebellion to inspire similar occurrences on their own farms. Each of their farms had been subject to some kind insurgence, as a result of propaganda. Thus, the farmers determined that it was in all of their interests to attack the farm.
