Why would the pigs no longer want the animals to sing the song beast of England

The pigs has established a government amongst the animals that is little different from the one they endured under the rule of Mr. Jones (the farmer). Banning the song signified the end of the freedom the animals had fought for..... the pigs had no wish to hear the battle cry of rebellion, nor, did they wish for the animals to question or rebel their rule.
