Anna Karenina
Why Is Anna Karenina a Dystopian Novel?
Hello, so based on how Anna Karenina ends, I think the novel is a dystopia (at least for Anna). When centered upon Anna, though, how can I say that the novel was a dystopian society and that Anna was affected by the dystopia? I'm not sure if it's the society's fault or Anna's own mistakes that ultimately made her kill herself. Would there be some examples/cases that show the book was a dystopian novel (for Anna or any other characters)?
