Is Anthem relevant today? Why or why not?

Conformity at the expense of individuality will always be a relevant theme in the world. People still argue about the merits of government involvement in the lives of the population. Questions of conformity vs independence are often extensions of political ideology. We can see a major rift in the American population along these lines during the recent election.
