1) Equality broke the law. He was an assigned street sweeper.

2) Equality's invention would destroy the department of candles.

3) The Council argued that since no one shared Equality's thoughts...... the invention was false or invalid.

4) The Council declared Equality's invention to be evil..... a tool to undermine man's purpose, which was to toil for other men.
