What is Rand’s view of life priorities?

Anthem depicts a society is which man's priorities are for the collective "we" rather than the individual. Her view in the novel illustrates that someone working as an individual has no place in society, that “If you are not needed by your brother men, there is no reason for you to burden the earth with your bodies.”
