Since Creon believes Polyneices to be a traitor, anyone who helped this "traitor" would be subject to punishment. Since Eteocles (her other brother) did nothing wrong in the king's eyes, Creon feels that Antigone's persistance in wanting to bury her "unpatriotic" brother is entirely insulting to the other one, in this case Eteocles.
