In the play “Trifles” by Susan Glaspell, does your impression of Mrs. Wright change of the play? If so, what changes it?

As the play progresses, Mrs. Wright becomes a character to be pitied. The more we learn, the more we feel sorry for her and somehow begin to understand what she's done (if she's actually done it). When the other women begin covering for her and putting aside evidence, we have an even better understanding of how she was seen in the community. Their actions and dialogue help us not only to understand this unseen character, but to empathize with her as well.
