4a. What does Atwood really think about Americans and Canadians? Can you please cite evidence from Atwood's essay to support your opinion?

She thinks we are neighbours with different attitudes and views towards each other and the worlds. While Canada has a more understanding, even enlightened view of the world, Americans have "Mr. Magoo" eyes (meaning they are really blind to the world.) America however is a powerhouse and both Canada and the rest of the world must understand the U.S.A and live with her.
