I did find it. I think Mora expresses an appreciation for a culture she once shunned as a child. There is a longing that every immigrant has for identity. Although there is a great amount of assimilation in America, Mora found that her roots to Mexico always remain. The border can't separate a feeling, a connection that one has with their culture. The border highlights the dichotomy between the Spanish and the English. Mora finds these stark differences as part of the fabric of her reality.
