Gondwana encompasses five different continents; South America, Australia, Africa, Antarctica, India, and possibly China. Gondwana was a Southern continent. The location of North America and other Northern continents is believed to have been near the equator.
Animal life during this period was limited to the oceans. These sea creatures are known as trilobites (mud-burrowing scavengers), Brachiopods (lived on the sea floor when they reached adulthood/ babies were able to swim), and Cephalopods (mollusks)
Plant life consisted of e leafless vertical spikes (earliest, believed to be about as tall as our index fingers) and tall trees and forests (by the end of this period).
