How is the adventure journey different in the two story "The First Voyage of Sinbad" and "To Build a Fire" by Jack London?

The two are pretty much totally different stories. Survival in London's "To Build a Fire" is based on the realism of nature. London takes mans' sense of self and juxtaposes it with the elements of nature. The result is gritty, unforgiving and "real". Sinbad is a fantasy. It is merely escape fiction meant to entertain the reader. While there are themes and even morals that directly relate to the nature of man and his environment (in To Build a Fire), Sinbad gives the reader a swashbuckling escape into the world of fictional pirates, monsters and treasure. That's it in a nutshell. If you need more words you can elaborate on some of the ideas I presented.
