What are creole language, language ego and ego boundary?

A creole language, or simply a creole, is a stable natural language developed from the mixing of parent languages; creoles differ from pidgins (which are believed by scholars to be necessary precedents of creoles) in that they have been nativized by children as their primary language, with the result that they have features of natural languages that are normally missing from pidgins.

The language ego is identified with a second language. Such an ego creates a sense of a defensiveness, fragility and raising of inhibitions. Students that study a second language feel fragile because of the native language ego. For this reason teachers must be patient and display a supportive attitude to students. As you learn a second language very often you’ll find yourself in a stupid situation. But the teacher must not forget that her students are very ambitious and capable, and that they do their best to manage it.

Ego boundaries, a key concept in the theory of Paul Federn, form a necessary basis for distinguishing real from not real. Federn saw it as a kind of sense organ that differentiates what is part of the ego at a given moment from all other psychic elements.
