what does Inversly Proportional mean?

This is a literature site but for what it's worth, I "googled" it and came up with this:

Definition: Direct proportion is the relationship between two variables when their product is equal to a constant value.

Examples:

The volume of an ideal gas is inversely proportional to the pressure of the gas (Boyle's Law)
