How does Aristotle define prodigality?

At the beginning of Book IV, Aristotle says that prodigality is the person who “has a single evil quality—that of wasting his substance, since a prodigal is one being ruined by his own fault.” What Aristotle seems to have in mind is a young person who has strung a series of bad decisions (with money, primarily) into a “wasted” or denigrated character.
