Is courage always pleasant for the virtuous person?

Even though Aristotle has said that the virtuous person must tailor herself towards actually taking pleasure and enjoyment in acting virtuously, at the end of Book III he says that there are quite a few times in which courage is difficult to exemplify even for the courageous person. Situations involving proximity to death are obvious examples.
