Aristotle names courage, liberality, pride and good-temperedness. All of these virtues, of course, are means between vices. For courage, between cowardliness and rashness; for liberality, prodigality and meanness; for pride, empty vanity and undue humility; and for anger, an overzealousness and an emotional deadness.
