Aristotle: Nicomachean Ethics

What feature of Aristotle’s thought allows us to see what our own society gets right in the promotion of the good life today?

I need a strong argument, but I don't think the one I have is strong at all. I thought of: Happiness, the good life, come through actions and that is still how we think about happiness today. We are what we do. If we are good we'll have a good life. oes this makes sense? I have to get evidence from Nichomachean Ethics. If you can help me, you'll save my life! than you.

To answer your question, I think you're on the right track. One thing to remember about "we are what we do" etc. is that you also need a telos or purpose towards which all of those actions are directed and make sense. If there's no reason or purpose for any of those actions, then they don't even make sense. So my advice would be to keep developing your answer with what you have, but be sure to include some thoughts about where those actions are directed.
