stoicism is impassiveness, it's an indifference to the feelings of pleasure or pain. Moderate stoicism. A moderate stoic would be able to control their emotions, but not let the philosophy completely rule over their life. An extreme stoic is considered perfection, because they would be above making false judgments without their emotions to lead them in one direction or another.
