Who would you sympathize with the most in as i lay dying? which character?

I like Darl. He is sensitive, intuitive, and intelligent. He brings out the truth in other characters, a truth they fail to see in themselves. For example Dewey Dell hates Darl for making her feel vulnerable, and Jewel lashes out at Darl for seeing the truth about him. In many ways Darl knows too much. He remains isolated from others because he operates almost on a different stream of consciousness. Perhaps this is why he is pit into an asylum later on in the story.
